CCN1 — Core Gas Safety

Mandatory core ACS assessment covering gas safety, installation, and legislation. Required for all gas engineers.

CENWAT – Central Heating
& Water Heaters

ACS assessment covering the installation, commissioning, servicing, and fault-finding of domestic central heating boilers and hot water systems. 

HTR1 – Gas Fires

ACS assessment covering the installation, servicing, and safety of domestic gas fires and decorative fuel effect appliances.

CKR1 – Gas Cookers

ACS assessment covering the installation, commissioning, servicing, and safety of domestic gas cookers and hobs.

CPA1 – Combustion Performance Analysis

ACS assessment covering the use of flue gas analysers to check combustion performance and ensure gas appliances are operating safely and efficiently.

MET1 – Gas Meters

ACS assessment covering the installation, exchange, commissioning, and safety of domestic gas meters and associated pipework.

ACS Initial Assessments

For engineers completing ACS for the first time. Initial assessments cover core gas safety and selected appliance modules required to apply for Gas Safe registration.

ACS Re-assessments

For existing Gas Safe engineers renewing ACS qualifications. Re-assessments confirm ongoing competence in core gas safety and selected appliance modules.

Gas Safe renewal packages (bundled)
